A client needed their Shopify site rebuilt, but they didn’t have access to the old store files or database. The original site contained a ton of product and content data — titles, descriptions, prices, player counts, etc. — all locked inside static pages.
💡 Solution
To save time (and sanity), I wrote a quick browser script that looped through the existing page elements, parsed the text, and output everything as clean JSON. The logic grabs each item’s title, description, player info, and cost, filters out metadata, and compiles a structured dataset ready to re-import into the new Shopify setup.
⚙️ Result
In a few lines of code, we automated what would’ve taken hours of manual copying. The JSON output became our import-ready content base — plug-and-play for the new build.
